Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of Pawdoku, the Android game published by Seozial, and this website. Installing or playing the game means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.

The short version: the game is free and yours to play. Do not pull it apart or cheat the ads. Your progress lives on your phone, and in your Google account if you use Google Play Games saving. Without that, losing your phone loses it. We offer it as it is, and we will not be liable for more than you paid for it, which is nothing.

1. Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play Pawdoku on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. We keep all other rights.

2. What you agree not to do

• Reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the game, except where the law expressly allows it.
• Redistribute, resell, sub-licence or repackage the game or its artwork, sounds or puzzles.
• Interfere with the ads, including automating them, faking views or generating invalid traffic.
• Tamper with the game's stored data, or a saved game in your Google account, to fabricate progress, bones or streaks.
• Use the game in any way that breaks the law where you are.

3. Ads and virtual items

Pawdoku is free and supported by ads: a short one between levels, about once every ten, and rewarded ads you choose to watch in exchange for something. Bones, golden bones, pets, treats, hints and streaks are virtual items with no monetary value. They cannot be bought with real money, exchanged for it, or transferred to another person or device. We may change how they are earned, priced or balanced as the game develops.

An ad that fails to load or pay out is not a debt, and we do not promise an ad will be available, or skippable, at any given moment. We rely on Google's ad network and cannot guarantee an ad is available at any given moment.

4. Your progress

Everything the game knows about you is stored on your device, as explained in the Privacy Policy. There is no Pawdoku account and we hold no copy on our side.

If you are signed in to Google Play Games, the game also saves your progress in your Google account, so you can restore it on a new phone. That copy is stored by Google, not by us, and we cannot see, edit or restore it. If your phone and your Google account differ, the one that is further along replaces the other; they are not combined. We do not promise that a saved copy will always be available or will restore.

If you uninstall the game, reset your phone or lose it, and you have not used Google Play Games saving, your progress is gone and we cannot restore it.

5. Availability and changes

We may update, change or stop offering Pawdoku, or any feature of it, at any time. We will not usually give notice for ordinary updates. The game needs a supported version of Android; older devices may stop being supported over time.

6. Intellectual property

Pawdoku, its name, artwork, sounds, puzzle design and code belong to Seozial or its licensors. Third-party assets bundled with the game are used under their own licences, which are listed inside the app under Settings → Licences.

7. No warranty

The game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every puzzle will suit you.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Seozial is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the game, including lost progress or lost time. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the game, which is nil.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, you keep every statutory right you have where you live, and nothing in these terms affects them.

9. Third parties

The game uses Google AdMob for advertising, Google Play Games Services for the optional saving of your progress, and is distributed through Google Play. Your use of those services is also governed by Google's own terms. We are not responsible for what a third party does on its own platform.

10. Ending it

You may stop at any time by uninstalling the game. We may end your licence if you break these terms. On ending, the rights in section 1 stop, and sections 6 to 8 survive.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law where you live.
